12 November 2022 - WCPF Kingswood Salver

WCPF Kingswood Salver was held today at Bovey Tracey Golf Club -  20 entries from clubs in the West Country  entered and I am delighted to say that our panel Geometric Obscura gained Commended.  The judges were Adrian & Jane Lines who I think were the best judges we have ever had. They were keen to see a proper panel that flowed, good quality and each image having something about it. When a panel was perhaps not to their taste Adrian was able to very concisely tell us why and I would think that everyone would have agreed with him.

Certainly Ian Bateman will have done because he gained Highly Commended for his print as an individual award which is Print No. 03 as below.  So well done, Derrick Holliday, Lynn Middleton-Flynn, Ian  Bateman, Sheila Haycox and Peter Hyett for putting a panel together at such short notice. The judges thought it was an excellent panel that looked like a panel and thought the printing was well done.
